Shawn as a Speaker

High conflict people and scenarios seem to be on the rise.  High conflict people can make you feel like you’re the crazy one.  Consequently, they make you feel defensive and bring out your worse instincts. And, unfortunately, you often end up becoming their target of blame.  Whether your are working with one, friends with one, divorcing one or still living one, a high conflict person can make life miserable.  Relief is here.  Shawn’s speaking is focused on giving pragmatic information on identifying and managing high conflict people in legal disputes and every day life.  Her speaking style is rooted in connecting with her audiences, bringing an appropriate sense of humor and play.

Shawn is known as an excellent keynote speaker and has appeared as a leading expert on panels, as well as been a conference session breakout speaker. As a result, it is fairly common for her sessions to be standing room only.  Her audiences range from six to over 600 in settings from small conference rooms to large auditoriums. Shawn as a Trainer

So have you spotted that high conflict person?  Do you want to be a mediator? When it comes training, Shawn’s has two passions: one is teaching you the skills to deal with high conflict people, and the other is training effective mediators.  And, she is darn good at it.  For more than 11 years, Shawn has been training individuals, professionals and groups on managing high conflict people and on topics of divorce mediation, caucus, communication techniques, negotiation cycles. She has conducted 14 two to four 4 day trainings since 2015 through the Family Resolution Institute, a training company she co-founded. In addition, Shawn has delivered training sessions at least once per year from 2009 to 2015. In short, she’s done a lot of them.
